Our ratio is 1.5:1; campers receive a one-to-one counselor. Other support staff include and are not limited to: Group leaders, teachers, waitresses, rotators, floaters, day camp counselors, mother’s helpers, lifeguards and more.
Counselors receive comprehensive training, support and ongoing coaching to bring out the best in themselves as well as their campers. Campers often improve their communication skills, master new goals and life skills, gain more independence, and enrich their quality of life as they are immersed in a round the clock therapeutic, goal oriented and loving environment.

Each camper receives an in-person interview/observation by one of our camp directors to ensure that each child can flourish in our camp. They are also contacted by our medical team, and by their teacher and counselor to acquaint themselves with the camper. Preparation for an enriching summer experience starts many months prior to the beginning of the camp season.
